Portfolio site with perspective

Came across this site today davorvaneijk.com – the perspective for the menu items works really well. I wonder if we’ll see more sites like this as time goes by?

Decode Exhibition V&A

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Pictured is one of the exhibits at Decode running at the V&A Museum. With a camera facing oncoming viewers, the image it receives is churned into data for each of the many individual paper bands. These gradient bands turn according to what the camera sees – even small movements create a hive of activity.

In this picture you can see myself (right) and my wife Lydia (left).

Decode exhibition is running until 11th April 2010 and is worth visiting if you’re in London (it’s not a huge exhibition so I wouldn’t travel spefically!).

Circular breakfast bar

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

Saw this in South Kensington today. I’ve always favoured the thought of having a breakfast bar in a kitchen but not imagined a circular one. I like the social aspect as well as the practical storage options.
